Senior Project Manager

When Senior Project Manager Brian Winkler, P.E., joined ONE Environmental Group in September 2025, he brought with him more than 20 years of experience in the environmental industry supporting engineering, project management and client development – along with a passion for family, community and problem solving. Based in Warrington, Pennsylvania, Brian is spearheading the firm’s efforts to establish a Philadelphia office and strengthen ONE’s presence across the Northeast.

A Penn State graduate and licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, Brian’s career has been defined by technical versatility and leadership in complex environmental projects. Prior to joining ONE, he managed a wide range of industrial facility projects, actively partnering with clients to maintain compliance with air, waste and water regulations under federal, state and local programs. His work has included developing and implementing compliance strategies for manufacturing, energy and waste-to-energy operations, as well as conducting multi-media audits, managing permitting processes and overseeing environmental reporting and training programs.

Brian also has experience managing waste-to-energy facilities where he directed day-to-day compliance programs and coordinated with regulatory agencies to ensure continuous operational integrity. His hands-on approach and deep regulatory knowledge have made him a trusted advisor to industrial clients navigating complex permitting and compliance challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

Brian was referred to ONE from a satisfied long-term ONE client and drawn further to ONE after learning about the company’s collaborative culture and steady, values-driven growth.

Outside of work, Brian’s world revolves around his family. He and his wife are raising three children at their home in Warrington. They spend time involved in youth sports and activities, gatherings with family and friends, and local community events.  Together, they founded an Outreach Bag program through their church to support homeless and less fortunate children and adults. Once a month, the program organizes volunteers to assemble bags filled with food and toiletries for those in need.

When he’s not leading environmental projects or giving back to his community, Brian enjoys spending time at home with his family, playing basketball and getting out on the golf course when time allows. He’s also known for his curiosity and persistence, whether it’s tackling household projects, learning to solve a Rubik’s Cube or increasing his green thumb with a home garden – all fitting traits for someone who thrives on tackling complex challenges from every angle.
