J. Rusty Field, PE

Rusty is a Richmond, Virginia native with over 18 years of professional experience providing environmental consulting services.  After earning a B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech, Rusty gained valuable experience working as a staff engineer and sr. project manager/engineer at multiple large consulting firms.  During the height of the recession in 2009, a small group of professionals with a wealth of experience in the field of environmental consulting and industrial services came together to form ONE Environmental Group, LLC.  As one of the company’s original founders, Rusty was passionate about creating a culture that was centered around the customer. His founder’s mentality and passion for customer service fosters a culture that is unmatched in the environmental consulting industry.

Rusty is a big believer in giving back to causes that advance or improve people’s lives and the environment in which they live.  He is also devoutly committed to the Hokie Nation and bleeds maroon and burnt orange.  Lastly, he married his high-school sweetheart and together they returned to the Richmond area to begin building a family.
